This
project was started independently by two family decendants, whom had
not known of each other. Through a chance phone call, a connection
was made, and this project grew by leaps and bounds to the web site
you see here. My name is Anthony J. Seman III (Tony), grandson of
Anthony, and my cohort in this obsession is Leo John Seman, son of
John Adolph. And it has been quite a journey. I knew very little of
my grandfathers older brothers and sisters, and Leo knew very little
about the younger siblings. As with any big family, not all siblings
were close to each other, so pulling this information together has
given us a bigger picture and a greater appreciation of our roots,
and of the story of how John F. Seman settled in America.
Two items have made this project manageable - we started from John
F Seman in America, so the generations (at this point) are manageable,
and Leo and I coincidently were using the same Family Tree software,
so merging files was fairly easy. Through this project I have met
many more relatives than I knew existed, it has been fun and rewarding.
I hope you find it that way as well.
I am assuming it will be family visiting this site, so please feel
free to send us any information that you might have - especially pictures.
I will not post any personal information here, unless given permission.
Please email me at any time with comments, requests, information,
or just to introduce yourself and say 'Hi'.
